The fourth annual Great Pepperoni Roll Cookoff is happening at the in Morgantown, West Virginia – just a short hour-long drive from Pittsburgh.
It’s all going down on Sunday, August 5 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Mogantown Farmers Market, and tickets to the event are on sale now.
Guests will get to sample pepperoni rolls from some of Morgantown’s best restaurants and bakers, who will also be competing for Pepperoni Roll awards like Best Overall, Most Traditional, Most Original and a People’s Choice award, voted on by the attendees.
Tickets are $10 each for a ‘Standard 8 Roll Ticket,’ which includes entry to the event at 2:30, and a choice of eight rolls to sample. And if you’d like to enter your own Pepperoni Rolls into the contest? Here’s the registration form to be part of the cookoff.
Proceeds of the event go to support the statewide tour of “Golden Horseshoe,” a musical about West Virginia history.
Tickets are available online, and only a limited number will be sold.
