Three stellar Pittsburgh chefs are showing off their wing-making skills at the Butterjoint on Tuesday, April 18.
Kevin Sousa (Superior Motors), Curtis Gamble (Station) and Kate Romane (Black Radish, e2) are battling it out to see who can make the best wings of the night – and we all get to vote for the winner.
As always, here’s how it works: Stop in between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night and order a dozen wings. Each of the three chefs work their own magic on the wings, preparing special spices and sauces to make their entries unique. You’ll get an order on 12 featuring all three different types of wings, and once you’ve tried them all, you vote on your favorite. The Wingoff champion is declared at 8:00 p.m., and will get a trophy and all bragging rights… until the Butterjoint’s next Wingoff, that is.
