The Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival Announces 2019 Date

Pierogi fans, rejoice!

The beloved Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival – held annually at Kennywood Park – has officially announced its 2019 date!

The festival will return on Sunday, September 22, 2019.

The event, which began in 2013, and has grown annually, with the 2018 festival hosting over 6,000 guests and two dozen pierogi vendors. Held at Kennywood, attendees enjoy admission to the park and rides on a few most Kennywood’s most iconic rides. 

2019 Early Bird tickets will go on sale on Valentine’s Day. There are 1,000 early bird tickets are available through April 12, 2019 (or until they sell out). 

Ticket prices are as follows:

Early Bird (1,000 available through April 12, 2019)

  • Adult (Ages 13+): $19.99
  • Children (Ages 3-12): $9.99
  • Children 2 and under are free!

Standard Pricing after April 12, 2019

  • Adult (Ages 13+): $24.00
  • Children (Ages 3-12): $12.00
  • Children 2 and under are free!

For a peek at what’s to come, pierogi vendors in the past have included: BRGR, The Commoner, The Coop Chicken & Waffles, Dorothy 6, Gosia’s Pierogies, Grandma Cyl’s Homemade Pierogi, Halal’s Foods, Happy Camper Cakes, Iron City Eats, Las Chicas Food Truck, Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, Oh My Grill, PGH Pierogi Truck, Pittsburgh Smokehouse and many more!
