Rivers Club Alaskan Seafood Extravaganza
The Rivers Club in Downtown is kicking off the weekend with an Alaskan Seafood Extravaganza! Guests can enjoy all forms of fresh seafood, including shrimp cocktail, crab claws, grilled oyster with garlic butter, Alaskan crab chowder, smoked salmon, grilled half lobster tails, and plenty more. Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic at the Frick
Every Friday during the summer, the Frick Cafe and Historical Center plays host to a wide variety of free outdoor performances. This Friday, Samoan native Tuika and Cindy Faumuina are directing “Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic.” This show will include engaging performances dancing, drumming, and singing. Beer & Food Round-Up With Helltown Brewing in Lawrenceville
Bay 4 has been hosting food truck round-ups every month this summer, and the August edition is happening this weekend. Spread out over Friday and Saturday, enjoy beers from Helltown Brewing, as well as a stellar lineup of Pittsburgh food trucks, like Pittsburgh Smokehouse Franktuary, and Edgars Best Tacos. Sustainable Sipping Happy Hour
The August edition of the Sustainable Sipping series will be held this Friday at the Frick Environmental Center. Ticket holders can drink and mingle with like-minded environment lovers. Northside Chalk Walk
Take a tour of the local businesses on the Northside of Pittsburgh while making the neighborhood beautiful. Seven locations will have sidewalk chalk so guests can help decorate the city. There will also be food trucks, ice cream trucks and more! Participating locations include James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy, Allegheny City Brewing, Wigle Whiskey, Scratch Food & Beverage, and Penn Brewery, among others. Smallman Galley Street Party
21st Street between Smallman St and Penn Avenue is turning into a block party this Saturday! Enjoy live music, as well as indoor and outdoor bars for libations. The chefs at the galley will be serving fun street food until 10pm, when the music stops, and the party moves indoors. The Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh food truck festival is back on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Get ready for fun activities, discounts at the store, and plenty of trucks. 11th Annual Millvale Brew Fest
For the 11th year in a row, the Brew Fest is happening in Millvale. Hosted by the Borough of Millvale and the Millvale Community Development Corporation, sample 180 different beers at the scenic Riverfront Park, as well as enjoy food trucks and a live bands. Millvale Food Truck Roundup
Also in Millvale this Saturday, Draai Laag and Grist House have teamed up again for another epic food truck party. Trucks will be parked outside of both Grist House, and Draai Laag. Shot and a Beer Summer Sundays with Dancing Gnome Brewery
Every Sunday at the Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse on the North Side, Wigle features a different brewery and serves their beers in $10 boilermakers from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This week they are featuring Dancing Gnome Brewery from Sharpsburg. The Neighborhood Flea: August 2017

2nd Annual Crosstown Cookout
It’s a $5 Party on the Mon River! The Crosstown Cookout is back, and everyone is invited. There will be live artists, live music, river activities, food trucks, drinks, games, vendors, and more! Food vendors include Gaucho Parrilla Argentina, PGH Halal truck, Oakmont Barbeque Company, Nakama, Pirata Caribbean Cuisine x Rum Bar, and Doce Taqueria, and PBR is the beer sponsor of the event. Spirit Summer Recess
Spirits Summer Recess Outdoor Food and Music Festival will be held in the outdoor Spirit Garden (adjacent to Spirit Hall), and feature 20 local acts, and eight local food providers. The festival will be followed by 21+ fun in the lounge from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The first 100 people who arrive at the festival will receive a free Summer Recess shirt compliments of CommonWealth Press and Straub Brewery. The outdoor portion of this event is free, the indoor after-party has a $7 cover.
