21+ Beer Night at Carnegie Science Center
“Science is brewing” at the Carnegie Science Center this Friday. Enjoy a special 21+ night (aka no kids) that is centered around the science behind beer making. Pittsburgh’s heavily anticipated “Brew Museum” will share a presentation on the history of beer. There will also be beer-themed science demonstrations, explanations of home brewing, as well as live music. There will also be (duh) plenty of beer. Tickets can be purchased online.
Paint Night at “The Hideout” with Baron Batch
Pittsburgh artist Baron Batch is hosting a creative paint-along with weekend at his “hideout” on Braddock Ave. Enjoy two hours of collaborative painting led by Batch, while enjoying heavy appetizers and drinks. This event is BYOB. Find out more online.
Vegetarian Month at Legume
This is the last weekend to catch Vegetarian Month at Legume. All month long, Legume has been offering a special vegetarian tasting menu each day (with the option to be made vegan). Special vegetarian dishes have also been added to the regular menu. Call ahead for reservations and don’t miss your chance to try these dishes – Sunday is the last day of Vegetarian Month until next year.
Picklesburgh 2017
One of Pittsburgh’s favorite annual events is happening on Friday and Saturday! The Roberto Clemente Bridge is turning into “Picklesburgh,” and serving up all things pickle! Girl’s Night Out at Pittsburgh Glass Center

Yoga Bike + Brunch from Studio Am

Another dog happy hour? Yep! Barkhappy is throwing a pawty at East End Brewing to benefit Humane Animal Rescue, and everyone is invited! Duck Donuts Grand Opening Celebration
Duck Donuts opened last month, but they’re officially celebrating their grand opening with a special community event on Saturday. Big Pour 11 Kickoff Party at Couch Brewery
The 11th Annual Big Pour at Construction Junction is coming up (September 9th), and Couch Brewery on Washington Boulevard is hosting a presale party as a kickoff, so guests can secure tickets without worrying about internet malfunctions. 50 general admission tickets per session available exclusively at this event.
