Take a stroll through some of Pittsburgh’s urban farms this fall during the Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour, hosted by the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) and East End Food Co-op.
The tour, which takes place on Saturday, September 30, will highlight agricultural production happening within the city of Pittsburgh, and its surrounding neighborhoods.
Guests will have the opportunity to connect and learn more about Pittsburgh food, farmers, and its push for sustainable agriculture on the tour, which is self-guided and includes thirteen farms.

- Drew Mathieson Center
- FIT Farms
- Frick Greenhouse
- Garden Dreams Urban Farm & Nursery
- Garfield Community Farm
- Homewood Historical Community Farm
- Hops on Lots
- Pittsburgh Oasis Farm & Fishery
- Sankofa Village Community Garden
- Shiloh Farm
- Steel City Soils
- Sylvania Natives
Check in is from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., and the farms are open from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Check in is at the East End Food Co-op.
Online registration will run until September 29 at noon, but walk-ins are also welcome. The tour is $25 for those who wish to complete it in a car, and $10 for bikes.
Proceeds from the tour will benefit PASA. This tour is outside, so dress accordingly.
