This Valentine’s Day, The Gluten-Free Goat is offering a special menu that Pittsburghers are sure to love!
The bakery and cafe, which is known for creating beautiful cakes, pastries, and snacks that are completely gluten-free, is offering a Valentine’s Day dessert menu.
Every item on the menu is 100% gluten-free, vegan, soy-free, corn-free, and mostly organic. Items are made with natural food dyes and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Detailed ingredients can be provided via email upon request.
The menu includes:
- Cupcakes: “Chocolate dipped strawberry”- Chocolate Cake with strawberry “butter”cream & ganache glaze
- Cookies:Â Valentine’s Themed Cut-outs, iced and decorated with watercolor
- Almond butter brownies
- Vegan and Gluten-Free Macarons: Vanilla with raspberry buttercream
Items can be ordered online.
Jeanette Harris, owner of the Gluten-Free Goat, says the bakery wanted to make a macaron that was accessible to a larger audience. While it is possible to find gluten-free macarons, dairy-free, vegan, egg-free, is much harder.
Order deadline is Saturday February 10 at 5:00 p.m. Pick-up will be Tuesday, February 13 between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
