Cheers to rooftop bars with a view!
Now open in The Strip District is Level 7, a bar and restaurant located on the rooftop of the brand-new AC Hotel Pittsburgh.
The AC Hotel Pittsburgh is located at 1126 Smallman Street, nextdoor to the Senator John Heinz History Center. The hotel’s lobby is situated on the 7th floor of the building and offers sweeping views of Downtown Pittsburgh. Adjoining the lobby is Level 7, which also has views of the city and an outdoor patio.
The AC Hotel chain is a new European-inspired boutique hotel venture from Marriott. The menu of Level 7 reflects this European influence with tapas-style appetizers like warm olives, crispy potatoes, meat & cheese plates, and meatballs. Larger plates are made for sharing and include Flat Iron steak, pesto rigatoni, and grilled salmon.
Perhaps the most exciting feature is Level 7’s daily happy hour deal, which includes $7 drink specials, Monday-Friday from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
The bar is known for their “signature” gin & tonic, made with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic. They also have an “ACGT” cocktail, which features a housemade tonic.
Level 7 is open daily for breakfast. For $16 per person, guests can enjoy a European style breakfast with fresh meats, cheese, juices, savory egg tarts, and yogurt. The restaurant reopens at 4:00 P.M. for drinks, appetizers, and dinner.
