Thursday, August 31 – September 4: Heinz Field Rib Fest
Rib Fest has returned! This festival is held over five days, and entry to the event is free. All are welcome to stop through and celebrate football, ribs, and live music. Sunday, September 3: Labor Day Luau at Sienna Mercato

Tuesday, September 5: Third Annual Britsburgh Festival

Thursday, September 7: A Night of Artful Pairings at the Phipps

Friday, September 8: 21+ Gaming at the Carnegie Science Center
Enjoy the science center… with no kids allowed. The science center is rolling in a cash bar, and all things game-related. Friday, September 8: Party in the Tropics at the Phipps
The Party in the Tropics is back at the Phipps! This tropical dance party transforms the conservatory garden to a huge dance party. There will be drinks, snacks, and of course, music. Friday, September 8: Zoo Brew – Oktoberfest
The zoo is about to be even more fun. Travel along the paths at the zoo while sipping on over 60 craft beers. See animals like tigers, Amur leopards, giraffes, and siamangs. Listen to live music. Tickets includes over 60 breweries, delicious bites, live entertainment, and a tasting mug.
Friday, September 8: Sustainable Sipping at the Frick Environmental Center
It is almost time for the September edition of the Sustainable Sipping series at the Frick Environmental Center. Ticket holders can drink and mingle with like-minded environment lovers. This month’s event includes live music by The Wreckids, beer from Great Lakes Brewing Company, a discussion with 412 Food Rescue on food inequity, and their innovative programs to fight hunger in Pittsburgh, and more programming. Friday, September 8-10: Oktoberfest at Teutonia Männerchor on the North Side
Situated in Deutschtown, this German cultural club was built in 1888. This year, Teutonia Männerchor is hosting the most authentic Oktoberfest in the region. Saturday, September 9: Steel City Big Pour
Drink local beer at one of Pittsburgh’s biggest craft beer festivals! Over 50 brewers and 20 food vendors will be at the 2017 edition of Big Pour. Check out local breweries like Allegheny City Brewing Co, Couch Brewery, Fury Brewing Co, and more, plus local food vendors like Burgatory, Industry Public House, Prohibition Pastries, Sharp Edge, and more. Tickets to Big Pour 11 includes samples from all food and drink vendors. Hosted by Construction Junction, the proceeds from the event support material reuse. There will also be live music and art.
