Maine Shore Dinner at Legume
Okay, this isn’t technically an event happening in July, but it is one that you won’t want to miss. On Saturday, June 30, Legume is hosting their annual Maine Shore Dinner, featuring fresh-from-Maine whole lobsters, clams, corn-on-the-cob, fresh rolls, fruit pie and more – pretty much everything you need to pretend that you’re sitting on a Maine shore. TacoMania at Strange Roots Experimental Ales
Get your taco fix at Strange Roots Experimental Ales during their summer monthly TacoMania event. Get a pass for $19 online (or $22 the day of the event), which will get you four tacos and a draft beer, or you can pay as you go. Chips & Beer at Spring Hill Brewing
Want to be one of the first people to see Spring Hill Brewing’s new taproom? On Saturday, July 7 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., they’re hosting a pre-launch party, which will feature samples of five of their fresh farmhouse beers, along with Pennsylvania-made potato chips and pretzels. Asado food truck will also be on site, too. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online.

Italian StrEAT Festival
The Downtown CDC is hosting the second annual Highmark’s Italian StrEAT Festival on Saturday and Sunday, between 6th and 9th Street on Penn Avenue. Open from noon to 8:00 p.m. each day, the festival will feature food, drinks, Italian wine, cooking demonstrations, a bocce court, raffles, kid’s activities, and live music. YinzFest at Wigle Whiskey
It’s all Pittsburgh, all the time at Wigle Whiskey’s Yinz Fest. Tickets to the event are $15 per person and include some of Pittsburgh’s finest food and drinks – an Isaly’s chipped ham slider, a fun-sized Wigle Whiskey spiked milkshake, a beer or spiked Arnold Palmer, potato and cheese pierogies from Pierogies Plus, and a mini Clark bar.

It’s becoming one of our favorite monthly events in Pittsburgh – Bierport’s Flight Nights! It’s back in July with a Macaron Flight Night, featuring two sessions where four beers will be paired with four perfectly-matched French macarons. Tickets are $28 per person, and can be purchased online.

Potterfest After Dark at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History
The Carnegie Museum is turning into Hogwarts for one night only for this special 21+ event. The event will get started after the museum closes, and will feature witches, wizards, and real-world magic found in the natural world. Throughout the evening, the museum will host some Harry Potter-inspired activities, and will feature classes like ‘Care of Magical Creatures’ and ‘Potions.’Plus, there will be cocktails and drinks. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Summer Pittsburgh Beerfest at Stage AE

Deutschtown Music Festival

It’s always one of the biggest Pittsburgh events of the year – Picklesburgh! Bar Climb on the North Side
Threadbare Cider is taking the Bar Crawl… and turning it vertical! Guests will start at Threadbare Cider, then climb city steps up to Scratch Food & Beverage, back down to Penn Brewery, and finish the tour at Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse. You’ll get a walking trail map, plus food and drink specials for each registered bar climber at each spot. Registration is free, food and drinks are pay-as-you-go.

Yelp is hosting Pittsburgh’s very first Ice Cream Festival – and it’s free to attend! This summer, Pittsburgh is hosting the 2018 American Cheese Society conference at The David L. Lawrence Convention Center. It’s official: We’re hosting BrunchBurgh: A Pittsburgh Brunch Festival! Join us at Hitchhiker Brewing in Sharpsburg for this one-of-a-kind morning event, featuring some of Pittsburgh’s best food trucks and coffee roasters. We’ll have breakfast pizza, breakfast burritos, doughnuts, Wise County biscuits, and so much more, plus Hitchhiker Brewing brews and Maggie’s Farm Rum morning cocktails. Imbibe Northside
Imbibe Northside is back at the Mattress Factory, featuring unlimited tastings of local drinks. More than 10 breweries, wineries and distilleries will be on hand with drink samples, plus they’ll have live music by The Beagle Brothers, and guests can explore art exhibitions, and enjoy bites from food trucks parked outside. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
