Something sweet is coming to East Liberty!
Gaby et Jules, the beloved Pittsburgh pastry shop, has announced that it will be opening Gaby et Jules: Le Cafe in East Liberty.
The retail shop and cafe will sell coffee, tea, and assorted French sodas, along with a food menu of sandwiches, quiche, pastries, and, of course, the brand’s signature macarons.
Owners Frederic and Lori Rongier told NextPittsburgh that the 1,000-square-foot-shop, which will offer seating, is the first step towards the pairs ultimate goal to franchise the brand. This will be the fourth Gaby et Jules location in Pittsburgh, which also has shops in Squirrel Hill, downtown, and at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Gaby et Jules: Le Cafe will be located at 6006 Penn Avenue (next to the new Milkshake Factory), and will open this summer.
And, if you want to celebrate your love of macarons, Gaby et Jules is participating in Macaron Day from now through March 24, offering free macarons at locations throughout the city. Find out more here.
