It’s official: One of Pittsburgh’s most beloved restaurants is back!
The South Side’s Dish Osteria and Bar has quietly opened its doors once again, a little over two years after owner Michele Savoia closed the business in order to take an extended break.
The re-opening announcement was made on Dish’s website.
Dish Osteria’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to midnight, though the kitchen closes at 11:00 p.m.
Guests can expect to find a “daily dinner menu,” with homemade, Sicilian-inspired dishes including House-made potato gnocchi with lamb ragú, Rigatoni with smoked mozzarella, prosciutto and peas in a cream sauce, Grilled quail with marinated rosemary and garlic, and a healthy selection of seasonal antipasti, like Grilled ciabatta bread with sautéed fresh fava beans and house made ricotta.
Reservations are available by phone only, at 412-390-2012.
