This Friday, spend an evening taking in the sights at the zoo while enjoying craft beers, food, and live entertainment.
The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is hosting their annual ZooBrew: Oktoberfest festival on Friday, September 7 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.
The zoo will be open after-hours for the 21+ only event, which will feature over 70 breweries serving up tastings of their signature beers. Participating breweries include Church Brew Works, Epic Brewing, Elysian Brewing, Devil’s Backbone, Kentucky Ales, Neshaminy Creek, Long Trail, Left Hand, Rivertowne, Penn Brewery, Rogue Brewing, Southern Tier, and many more.
There will also be food options throughout the zoo, with a menu that includes:
- Pretzel necklaces
- Fried Pepper Jack Mac & Chees bites
- Southern-style Pulled Pork tacos
- Dill pickle potato chips
- Chicken and Waffles
- Roasted Squash and Beet Salad
- Chorizo with Street Corn Succotash
- Patatas Bravas
- Churro Sundaes
Tickets are $63 per person, and include beer samples, and all food. The event is rain or shine, and more information can be found online.
