Upper St. Clair now has a new spot for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
The Porch at Siena officially opened today at the Siena at St. Clair shopping complex. The restaurant marks the first expansion of The Porch brand, which is part of the Eat’n Park Hospitality Group. The restaurant group’s Porch at Schneley has been operating at its Schenley Plaza location in Oakland since 2011.
The new suburban spot will feature a similar menu to its sister restaurant, though The Porch at Siena will offer slightly different daily specials. The Porch’s Mediterranean-influenced menu places an emphasis on using ingredients from local partners and farms, and will feature a variety of fresh salads, sandwiches, and burgers, along with hand-tossed pizzas baked in a stone-fired oven. Be on the lookout for dishes like the Grilled Farm Bread Salad (field greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, mint, Emerald Valley feta and charred onion vinaigrette), the Pulled Pork Sandwich (barbecue pork shoulder, beer-battered onion ring and bleu cheese-apple slaw on a brioche bun), and a Mushroom pizza (roasted oyster mushrooms, Kalamata olives, red pepper tapenade, ricotta and fried rosemary).
The restaurant also boasts its own on-site garden, which will produce a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.
During the day, guests will order at the counter and have food brought to their table, and during dinner and weekend brunch, the restaurant will shift to a full-service operation. Plus, just in time for the season, The Porch will offer an outdoor dining area, with a covered patio and large fireplace.
The restaurant will be open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Brunch will be served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
