BkSq Summer Send Off
Say goodbye to summer (sigh) at Bakery Square! They’re hosting a ‘Summer Send Off’ party with 20+ food trucks, like Mac & Gold Truck, Oh My Grill, and PGH Pierogi Truck. Plus, there will be plenty of beer and spiked cider, too! Wristbands are $20 for four hours of drinking, and single drink tickets are available, too.
Oktoberfest Weekend at Hofbrahaus
Kick off Oktoberfest at Hofbrahaus with fun activities this weekend, including air brush tattoos, balloon art, a magician… and lots of beer.
Oktoberfest at the Independent
The Independent Brewing Company is celebrating Oktoberfest in a big way, with a lineup of unique German beers, including 1809 Berliner, Avinger Oktoberfest, and Uerige Doppelsticke. Bottoms Up Yoga Brunch at Benjamin’s Western Avenue Burger Bar
Outdoor yoga and boozy brunch, anyone? Northside Yoga is teaming up with the crews at War Streets Brewery and Benjamin’s for a yoga brunch that includes a 75-minute yoga flow on the back deck, one item off the bunch menu, and one boozy brunch beverage. Tickets are $43.19 per person.
Brews in the Park at Kennywood
Drink the day away at Kennywood Park at their Brews in the Park event. They’ll have live music, plus 100+ beers for sampling. And, select rides will be open at the park from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Shucking Class 101 at Muddy Waters Oyster Bar
Learn how to shuck like a pro at Muddy Waters Oyster Bar in East Liberty. The hands-on class will teach shucking techniques, while participants taste different species and discus sustainable farming – all while enjoying cocktails with Havana Club rum! Regular tickets are sold out, but ‘Bad Mother Shucker’ tickets, which include the oyster class, 18 oysters to shuck, 2 cocktails, and a take-home shucking knife, are still available.

This year, Kennywood is hosting the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival. This event is dedicated to one of Pittsburgh’s most popular foods.
