Friday, July 13
Pittsburgh Summer BeerFest at Stage AE
The Pittsburgh Summer BeerFest is happening on Friday and Saturday at Stage AE, with more than a hundred breweries serving up samples of their best beers. The event will also feature live music, lots of food trucks and plenty more. Tickets are available online and at the door.
Spring Hill Brewing Grand Opening
Head to Spring Hill Brewing for their first official opening day.
PotterFest After Dark at the Carnegie Museum
The Carnegie Museum of Natural History is turning into Hogwarts for a special Harry Potter-themed 20+ evening. The will get started after the museum closes, and will feature witches, wizards, and real-world magic found in the natural world. Tickets are $15, and more information can be found online.
Deutschtown Music Festival
This two-day music festival (on Friday and Saturday) will feature over 200 bands, 28 stages, 8 outdoor stages, 20+ food vendors, and a beer garden. Entrance to this event is free.  A full schedule of events and activities can be found online.
Jeff Goldblum Day at Artisan Pittsburgh
Artisan Pittsburgh, the tattoo parlor/coffee shop/gallery hybrid in Garfield is celebrating all things Jeff Goldblum on Jeff Goldblum Day, with tee-shirts, tattoo flash specials, trivia games, art, and more – and everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favorite Jeff Goldblum character.
Cioppino Summer BBQ Patio Series
Cioppino in the Strip District is hosting a series of BBQ parties this summer on their patio. On Friday, July 13, they’ll have house-smoked brisket, ribs, chicken and turkey legs, plus pulled pork sandwiches and all of your favorite BBQ sides.

Bourbon and Bocce at The Frick

Baking Bread: A Storytelling Dinner About Bread and Grains at Chatham
Chatham University’s Eden Hall Campus will be home to their first pop-up dinner, featuring chefs from Lost Creek Farm. The dinner will feature a menu that coincides with in-depth stories about grains go from farm to plate. Tickets start at $85 and can be purchased online.

Roundabout Brewery & Leona’s Ice Cream 5th Anniversary Party
Roundabout Brewery and Leona’s Ice Cream are teaming up to celebrate their fifth anniversaries – and they’re shutting down 49th Street to do it. There will be food trucks, live music, beer, ice cream and more. See more online.
Second Annual National Ice Cream Competition at Klavon’s
Klavon’s is gathering some of the best ice cream in the country for a taste-test and competition – and you’re invited! They’ll have ice cream samples, local judges, and more.
Beer + Yoga at Brew Gentlemen
