Mad Hatter’s Twisted Tea Party at Cruze
Halloween is coming early this year at Cruze Bar. Their costume party will include Djs, dancing, drink specials, and a costume contest with prizes. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door. More information can be found online.
Live Music at Arsenal Cider
Local band West Holiday Trip will be playing at the Arsenal Cider Garden from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and the Miss Meatball food truck will be on hand to serve up tasty bites. Enjoy this outdoor Lawrenceville oasis while the weather is still nice!

ZooBoo at the Pittsburgh Zoo
Trick-or-Treat throughout the Zoo at this family-friendly, daytime event. There will be two haunted houses for exploring, a costume competition, and plenty of candy. Tickets are available online.
In Bed By Ten at Spirit
Dance the (early) night away at Spirit’s In Bed By Ten Dance Party, all while enjoying pizza from Slice Island. The $5 cover donation benefits Beaver County Humane Society, and the party ends promptly at 9:00 p.m. For more information, visit the event page.
Penn’s Corner End of Season CSA Celebration at East End Brewing Company
Join Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance for their end-of-season bash. The event is free for all, but CSA members will receive a free East End Beer. There will also be Penn’s Corner produce and products for sale, and food from Tango Food Truck. See more online.
Ukrainian Food Festival

Garfield Community Farm Fall Festival
Admission to this year’s Community Farm Fall Festival includes homemade pie, grilled food, hard cider, local beer and more. Brewing Up A Cure
One of Pittsburgh’s longest-running beer festivals is back with over 75 different homebrewed beers, as well as beers from local microbreweries, all for the sampling. Tickets start at $50 and proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. For more information, visit the event page.
Haunted Museum
The first night of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s after-hours, 21+ Halloween Party will be Saturday, October 21, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy adult trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, live jumping spiders and adult beverages. Read more online.
2017 Plague Release at Draai Laag Brewing Company
Celebrate Draai Laag’s annual release of The Plague, their fan-favorite brew that’s made with a Belgian-inspired stout and their French Oak Petit Syrah wine casks (then fermented over a trio of fresh briar berries) at 3:00 p.m. to purchase bottles and drafts.
Bierport Barrel Bash
Bierport is digging into their beer stash and bringing out barrel-aged brews that you won’t find anywhere else for their second Bierport Barrel Bash. Tickets are $60 and include unlimited 5oz pours of 16 barrel-aged beers, bar snacks from Hambone’s, and a commemorative tasting glass. There are two sessions on Saturday, one from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., and one from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available online.
Fall Kickoff and Food Truck Rally at Voodoo Brewery
Local food trucks are gathering at Voodoo Brewery in Homestead for their last epic food truck rally of the season. Thai Cooking Class at Thai Me Up
Learn how to cook traditional Thai dishes at Thai Me Up’s Thai Cooking Class. There are two class sessions, one at 1:30 p.m. and one at 3:30 p.m., and each class will learn how to make Thai-style Pumpkin Dill Soup, and Thai Me Up’s original Pad Thai. Seats are $35 per person.
