Party in the Tropics at Phipps Conservatory
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is transforming into a unique nightspot for one night only. At this massive Mardi Gras-inspired dance party, enjoy tasty bites, unique cocktails, beer, and dancing in the Tropical Forest Conservatory. Farm to Table Western PA Conference

Taste30
The Pittsburgh City Paper is presenting Taste30, a city-wide restaurant event where participating restaurants will offer a special multi-course prix fixe menu for the price range of $30 to $39. Participating restaurants include Revival on Lincoln, Coast & Main, The Vandal, Spork, The Twisted Frenchman, and many more.

Oyster Week at Eleven
Big Burrito Group’s Eleven is hosting an Oyster Week, featuring five different dishes featuring oysters. Look for Roasted Blue Point Oysters, oyster stew, fried oysters and more.

Spork Spring Drink Menu Preview
Try Spork’s latest lineups of new Spring cocktails at this late-night happy hour, from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. At the event, Spork bartenders will be donating all of their gratuities to support employees of Harris Grill Shadyside, who have endured financial hardships after the restaurant’s recent fire. There will also be a selection of house-made pizza on the menu. Find out more on the event page.

Food Truck-a-Palooza
More than 35 of Pittsburgh’s best food trucks (including La Palapa, Revival Chili, Tipple Taps, Mr. Bulgogi and more) are gathering at the Monroeville Convention Center for the winter Food Truck-a-Palooza. Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door, and food and drinks are pay-as-you-go.
St. Practice Day 2019 Pierogi Contest & Pub Tour
This South Side pub crawl features drink specials and $1 pierogies at a number of different bars, like Archie’s (where the crawl starts), Local Bar + Kitchen, Mario’s South Side Saloon, Steel Cactus and more. Tickets start at $5, and are available online.

70s Cocktail Dinner with Home
The Smallman Galley’s Home is getting groovy on March 11 with a 70’s-themed cocktail dinner, with nostalgic menu items, and specially-crafted cocktails. Seats are $59 per person.

Kegs & Eggs at Cityworks
If you’re going to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, why not get a jump on things? Cityworks downtown is opening from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with specially-priced $45 tickets, that will get you unlimited green beer, Bloody Mary’s and mimosas, and a breakfast buffet. See more online.

Vintage PittsburghÂ
Head to the Heinz History Center for this one-of-a-kind food and shopping event on Saturday, March 23. Wine Making Workshop
The Istituto Mondo Italiano at Wilkins School Community Center is hosting an intro to wine-making class, discussing raw materials, basic fermentation theory, techniques and sanitation. If you’ve ever wanted to make your own vino, this workshop is a must. Tickets are $35 per person, and available online.
Wine Shine ‘n Spirits Pierogi Palooza
Sample local wine and enjoy a pierogi buffet, with pierogies, haluski and stuffed cabbage, at this all-day event in Canonsburg. More than 16 wineries and distilleries will be pouring product sample, and there will also be a large vendor market for shopping. Tickets are $10 online, and $15 at the door.
Threadbare Maple Festival and Pancake Brunch
North Side’s Threadbare Cider is hosting their second annual Maple Festival, with maple syrup samples available from local farms, and a mpale sugaring demonstration, plus family-friendly maple activities from Carnegie Science Center. The event is free to attend, and food and drinks are pay-as-you-go.

Pittsburgh’s Cocktail Classic
Sample cocktails of all kinds at Pittsburgh’s very first Cocktail Classic, happening on Friday, March 29 at The Pennsylvanian downtown. Vendors slinging drinks include Station, Sugar + Smoke, Union Standard, Lawrenceville Distilling, and more. Tickets are $49 for general admission (which includes 10 cocktail sample tickets, and one food ticket), and $65 for early entry admission (which includes one hour early admission, 15 cocktail sample tickets, and one food ticket).
