Here’s the thing about Pittsburgh.
This city is having a culinary moment. One minute, you think that you’ve tried every restaurant and tasty bite that Pittsburgh has to offer… and the next, you realize that there are a dozen new spots you’ve never even heard of, let alone visited.
That’s why you should take this opportunity to try two under-the-radar joints at once and run with it.
On Thursday, October 20, Pear and the Pickle, the Troy Hill café and market, is teaming up with taco makers Baby Loves Tacos for a one-night-only pop-up taco stand, and it’s worth the trip to Rialto Street to check it out.
The menu includes a sweet selection of tacos ($4 each or 3 for $10), including Chipotle-braised chicken, Roast pork shoulder, Pulled spaghetti squash and Pomegranate-chipotle seitan. They’ll also be serving up burritos, homemade chicken soup, and dessert, too.
Dinner is happening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, check out their event page.
