Surround yourself with nature, and good food at Churchview Farm! The urban farm, located just south of city, is hosting a Spring Soiree to benefit Grow Pittsburgh on Wednesday, May 24.
Churchview Farm, a third generation urban farm, is famous for its summer garden dinners and happy hours, which typically sell out months in advance. This event will give guests the chance to make it over to the farm, and support a good cause. The evening will highlight Grow Pittsburgh’s mission to promote the benefits gardening and growing food.
Activities for the evening include tours of the farm by Grow Pittsburgh apprentices, and live music by Arlo Aldo.
East End Brewing Company, and Bar Marco will be providing the drinks. Avenue B’s Chef Chris Bonfili, big Burrito Restaurant Group’s Chef Bill Fuller, Black Radish Kitchen, Chef Torie Day from Day La Soul Café, and Onion Maiden will provide the meal.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person, and the event 21+. More information on the event can be found online.
