Burger lovers in Pittsburgh, get ready to be dazzled! The Pittsburgh City Paper‘s very first Burger Week kicks off today, and celebrates some seriously delicious delicious burgers.
From May 15 through May 21, you can find custom burgers at 23 restaurants all over town, which will be available only during Burger Week.
Participating restaurants include:
We love any kind of burger, but we’re especially looking forward to trying The Foundry’s ‘The Hill & Hoot,’ made with Jubilee Hilltop Ranch ground beef, wild Pennsylvania ramp aioli, Goat Rodeo hootenanny cheese, sautéed mushrooms and a fried egg on an onion poppyseed bun, Dorothy 6 Blast Furnace Cafe’s ‘Steelworker Burger’ with BBQ pulled pork, sharp cheddar cheese, crispy fried onions and candied bacon, and The Commoner’s ‘Burghs of a Feather’ burger, with American Wagyu beef, foie gras aioli, duck egg, spicy bread-and-butter pickles, lettuce and tomato on a duck-fat brioche bun.
Check out the Burger Week website for a full lineup of all of the burgers available.
Plus, if you love beer with your burgers (and who doesn’t?), share a photo of your favorite Pittsburgh Burger Week burger on Instagram using the hashtag #pghburgerweek from May 15 through May 21 to be automatically entered to win free Budweiser for a year.
