German food, German music and German beer… you guessed it: It’s time for Oktoberfest.
Penn Brewery is celebrating Munich’s world-famous beer festival with their own German-style party, with two weekends set aside for food, beer and live entertainment.
The brewery’s Oktoberfest will be taking place during the weekends of September 16 – 18, and September 23 – 25, under a massive festival tent at the Troy Hill brewery.
Fest hours will be 5:00 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and noon to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays.
There is no cover charge to attend the festival, though they do offer three VIP packages, which range from $45 – $65 per person, or $479 for an eight-person table. Packages include reserved seating, a beer mug with brew fills, and food.
This year’s menu will feature grilled brat and chicken sausage with sauerkraut, Klopse (German meatballs) sandwiches, hot sausage and peppers, Schweinebraten, pretzels, pumpkin pierogies. And on tap? Penn Brewery Oktoberfest drafts, of course.
Penn Brewery will also be offering a special Oktoberfest menu in the restaurant from September 18 through October 31, with classic German dishes such as Sauerbraten and Rouladen.
