Something sweet is coming to Pittsburgh! Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery that sells nothing bundt delicious, handmade bundt cakes, hopes to open its doors in Upper Saint Clair by the end of June.
This will be the first location in Pennsylvania for the popular Nothing Bundt Cakes chain. These bakeries are known for their decadent cakes, ranging in flavor and size, and truly taking bundt cakes to the next level.
Some of the popular cake flavors include red velvet, pecan praline, white chocolate raspberry, carrot, and classic vanilla. Each cake is topped with their signature cream-cheese frosting.
Additionally, the cakes range in size from 10-inch cakes, to bite-sized morsels, which are sold by the dozen. Nothing Bundt Cakes also offers “bundtlets,” which are single-serving cakes – almost like a giant, bundt cupcakes.
Hollie Kawecki, the owner of the Upper Saint Clair store, says she’s excited to bring these treats to Pittsburgh.
“Ever since I tried Nothing Bundt Cakes, I wanted to be able to bring it to Pittsburgh. I remember the first time I tried the White Chocolate Raspberry – I seriously thought I died,” says Kawecki. “That is the best part, getting to see people’s reactions to the cakes.”
The shop will only offer takeout cakes. Patrons will be able to pre-order cakes, or stop in to pick one up. In addition to the cakes, Nothing Bundt Cakes will also be a one-stop shop for gifts.
“We have plates, balloons, coffee mugs, greeting cards, candles. We don’t want people to have to go to a million places to pull a gift together. Everything can be personalized, down to the color of the ribbon,” says Kawecki.
Nothing Bundt Cakes will also be serving Pittsburgh’s gluten-free residents, as the bakery offers a gluten-free cake, chocolate chip cookie dough. This cake provides an easy option for those who want to serve guests a gluten-free treat, but do not have a gluten-free kitchen to cook in.
Nothing Bundt Cakes will be located in Upper Saint Clair, across the street from the Whole Foods Market. The shop hopes to be open by the end of June.
“We can’t wait to start baking!” says Kawecki.

This is so exciting. For my young daughter who has Celiac Disease, we’ve been limited to baking our own cakes for holidays and birthdays or thinking of other options. We tried the gluten free option from NBC and it was amazing. Can’t wait for Nothing Bundt Cakes!
