Bakery Square Summer Kick Off
This Friday marks the beginning of summers in the square! Bakery Square is celebrating with an absolutely massive summer kick-off party. The event will feature live music, beer, music, games, and over 20 Pittsburgh food trucks! For more information, check out our write up on the event.
Northside Sandwich Week
Northside Sandwich Week will run through the weekend, so you still have your chance to try unique sandwich creations from different northside restaurants, including the champion – the “Mother Clucker” sandwich from Chateau Cafe and Cakery, made with fried chicken on a glazed donut. Live Music at Arsenal Cider
Have fun at the cider house in Lawrenceville this weekend. The Unknown String Band will be at Arsenal on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Perfect music to sip cider to. More information can be found online.
Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival
This weekend, 42 (yes, you read that correctly) different food trucks are coming to the Meadows Racetrack and Casino for a gigantic food truck festival. There will be kid’s activities, fireworks, a DJ, beer, and live music. The festival runs Friday – Sunday (May 26th – 28th). This event is free and open to the public. Lawrenceville Farmers’ Market Preview at Allegheny Wine Mixer

Coffee Buddha May Foodtruck Roundup

Barnyard Beer Benefit
The time has come to drink beer, and party on the farm! Gilfillan Farm, a 150-year-old farm estate and historical center in Upper Saint Clair, is hosting the third installment of their Barnyard Beer Benefit, this Saturday. Tickets are $55 and include food, live music by Matador Fish, and beer from six local breweries. All proceeds from the Barnyard Beer Benefit will be donated to the Gilfillan Farm Restoration Project. Spoon Presents a Mad Hatter Tea Party & Dessert Tasting
This Sunday, Spoon in East Liberty is hosting a five-course Mad Hatter Tea Party & Dessert Tasting. Guests will try treats like Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Milkshake, Lemon “Thyme” Macarons, Queen of Hearts of Lemon Tart, and more! Tickets are $45 and can be purchased online.
Kayafest
Kayafest is back and bigger than ever before! Get ready to party in Smallman Street all day on Sunday. There will be tons of food, drinks, and of course, live music! Be sure to check out one of Pittsburgh’s most colorful traditions. More information can be found online.
Open Streets PGH
Truly the sign of summer – open streets had returned! This year’s new route is called “Tunnel to Town” and runs from Market Square to Uptown, over the Birmingham Bridge to the South Side, and all the way back through the Armstrong Tunnel. 3.7 miles of streets from Downtown to the South Side will be temporarily car-free and open for people of all ages to walk, run, bike, dance, shop, and people watch. Sweet Horror 2.0 Vegan Popup
After the success of the original Sweet Horror, the event is returning to East End Brewing this weekend. Enjoy a plethora of vegan sweet vendors while shopping local art. As the event is at East End, there will also be a plethora of local beer. More information can be found online.
Chef Send-Off Party
Sunday is the final day for the original chefs at the Smallman Galley. Sonntag featuring Spoonwood Brewery
