Tom Totin, local chef extraordinaire and host of the Cookspeak podcast, has introduced a new foodie award, honoring Pittsburgh’s biggest culinary standout.
The Cookspeak ‘Pierogi & Hoagie’ Award aims to bring awareness to exceptionally good works in the Pittsburgh food and art world.
Totin will be on KDKA radio’s Robert Mangino Show tonight at 9:00, and will begin taking nominations during the show. You can also nominate your favorite Pittsburgh chef, purveyor, blogger, critic, author, server, bartender – or anyone else in the food industry – by sending Tom a Tweet at @cookspeaktom.
He’ll be taking nominations through November 7.
