If you’ve been waiting for a taste of Trevett Hooper’s soon -(really soon, we hear)-to-open Pie for Breakfast, you have a chance this week.
On Wednesday, May 2, Hooper will be joining Bethany Zozula at the Whitfield for a preview pop-up of the restaurant, which Hooper is opening with his wife, Sarah, in Oakland.
The event will be part of the Whitfield’s Sharing Knives series, a bi-monthly collaborative dinner series that features guest chefs from Pittsburgh and beyond. The menu will feature breakfast for dinner, with an omelette station, a Bloody Mary bar, and a few surprises from two of Pittsburgh’s best chefs.
The event is family-friendly, and will be held in the Ace Hotel’s gym area starting at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for kids, and $20 for adults. To make reservations, email [email protected] or call 412-626-3090. More information can be found online.
