Downtown diners and guests of the Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel will have a new restaurant option starting on October 27th.
The Fairmont Pittsburgh recently announced that they are opening “fl.2,” a locally sourced, modern-American restaurant.
fl.2 will takeover the space previously occupied by Habitat, the restaurant located on the second floor of the Fairmont for over seven years.
The newly redesigned interior was heavily influenced by Pittsburgh, and guests will notice many subtle nods to the city throughout the decor. The space features large windows with breath-taking views of Downtown Pittsburgh. Every detail, down to the menus made with local leather, was expertly planned.
The menu was also heavily influenced by Pittsburgh, featuring locally-sourced dishes made to excite both locals, and visitors staying at the hotel.
The bar program is hyper-local, with drinks that are heavily rooted in fresh ingredients. Many of the spirits and beers in the fl.2 bar menu are from Western PA.
The space aims to be a place to share food and memories with friends, old and new.
Follow fl.2 on their Facebook page for updates on their menu and opening.
