Emporio: A Meatball Joint is heading south.
The Pittsburgh-based chain has announced that it has recently signed a lease to construct a new location in Washington, Pennsylvania, just off of Racetrack Road near the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
The Washington restaurant will be aesthetically similar to other Emporio locations, and will feature a meatball-centric menu, large open-air garage doors, televisions around the bar, and up to 40 drafts on tap.
Construction on the restaurant will be from the ground up, and the location is expected to open in Summer 2018.
This will be the fourth location for Emporio: A Meatball Joint, which also has locations in downtown Pittsburgh, Wexford, and in the PPG Paints Arena. The restaurants are owned and operated by Burnt Orange REstaurant Group, which also operates Sienna Mercato and Sienna On The Square.
