Bruneaux, a fine-dining restaurant on Beaver Street in Sewickley, has announced on social media that it is closing its doors.
The restaurant’s last day of service will be Saturday, February 16.
In a note to customers, the restaurant’s owners stated that the restaurant’s and property were purchased by another restaurant group, and plans are for a new restaurant to open in the space in the future.
Bruneaux opened in 2016 in the former Sewickley Cafe location, serving an eclectic menu, with French-inspired dishes such as escargot and Bouillabaisse sharing space with Southern-inspired dishes, like Chicken and Waffles and meatloaf. In 2018, the restaurant space earned rave reviews from local designers for its light, airy dining room and expansive patio area.
Reservations at Bruneaux are currently available daily until Saturday.
