Let’s start with some of the highlights of this year Little Italy Days: Three stages of entertainment, tons of tasty food and wine, bocce tournaments, Italian Idol, and more!
For the 15th year in a row, the largest heritage festival in the region is returning to the streets of Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood from August 17 through August 20. This free, and family-friendly event draws thousands of visitors from around the region every single year.
Food and drink vendors will be plentiful, as well as the sweet sounds of live music. Over 30 acts are set to be part of this festival. Some of the guest’s favorite events (in addition to eating delicious Italian food) include the Celebrity Bocce Challenge, the The Miss Little Italy Pageant, and Italian Idol.
For the Celebrity Bocce Challenge, Pittsburgh politicians and media/entertainment personalities will face off in bocce as spectators cheer them on.
The hours for Little Italy Days are: Thursday, August 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday August 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday August 20th,12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
