Farmers market season is officially upon us, and thanks to so many local farms, orchards, and producers, you can find a farmers market in the greater Pittsburgh area any day of the week.
Saturdays
Lawrenceville Farmers Market: Every Saturday, June 4 – October 29. 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Arsenal Park, between 39th and 40th Streets, and between Butler and Penn Streets. New this year, the market is moving to Arsenal Park in Central Lawrenceville. Find fresh produce, local chocolate, green juices, cheese, popsicles, olive oil, and more for sale from a rotating list of vendors.
Bloomfield Saturday Market: Every Saturday, starting June 4. 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 5050 Liberty Avenue. The Bloomfield Saturday Market features fresh fruit, vegetable, and locally-made goods, plus an event calendar loaded with special dates, including a BBQ Day (June 18), Strawberry Festival (June 25), Tomato Festival (August 20), Food Truck Roundup (October 1) and more.
Swissvale Farmers Market: May 7 – October 29. 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 7301 Schoyer Avenue, Swissvale. At the Swissvale Farmers Market, you’ll find locally-grown produce, baked goods, prepared foods, plus a variety of hand-made crafts and gift items. Vendors this year include Ohio City Pasta, Pitaland, Peppers N’at, Enrico Biscotti, Larry Musser Farms, and Wild River Kettle Korn.
Monroeville Lions Farmers Market: Every Saturday, starting May 7. 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monroeville Community Park, 2399 Tilbrook Road. Vendors selling local produce, baked goods, meats and preserves include Pitaland, Paul’s Apple Orchard, McElhinny’s Farm, Harvest Valley Farm and Craig’s Bakery.
Sewickley Farmers Market: Every Saturday through November 19, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. St. James Parking Lot, 200 Walnut St., Sewickley, PA. Merchants will sell meat, locally-grown fresh vegetables, local honey, organic farms products, pierogies, pasta and more.
Mt. Lebanon Uptown Farmers Market: April 23 – November 19, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Located in the Uptown Business District on Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon, the Mt. Lebanon Uptown Farmers Market features local produce, breads, meats, cheeses, arts and crafts. Vendors include A519 Chocolate, Najat’s Cuisine, Kern Farms, Simmons Farm, Mediterra Bakehouse, Goodlife Juices, Quiroz Farm, The Happy Vegan and The Greek Kitchen.
Beaver: Every Saturday from May through December, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Beaver Courthouse Parking Lot, 4th & Market Streets. Features fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, honey, fresh-cut flowers and bedding plants.
Elizabeth Handmade/Homegrown Market: The second Saturday of each month, starting Saturday, June 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Located on Water Street. Featured fresh produce, local food, artisan crafts and live music.
Shadyside Farmers Market: Every Saturday, starting June 4 through September 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Liberty School lot (corner of Ellsworth and Filbert Streets). Brand new this year, the Shadyside Farmers Market will feature fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, chicken, beefo, pork, fish, hummus, honey and flowers. Vendors include Auburn Meadow Farm, Hello Hummus, Fresh Fix, Old Time Farm and Mill Creek Trout Farm.

CitiParks Squirrel Hill: June 5 – November 13, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Beacon/Bartlett parking lot. Features farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods.

CitiParks East Liberty: May 9 – November 14, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Station Street & N. Euclid Ave. parking lot. Features farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods.
Zelienople-Harmony Farmers Market: Every Monday, starting June 6, 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Zelienople Community Park. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and a rotating list of guest vendors.
Beaver Falls: Every Monday, from May through November, 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Municipal parking lot, corner of 8th Ave. & 12th St. Features fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, honey, fresh-cut flowers and bedding plants
Caste Village Whitehall Borough Farmers Market: Every Monday, from June 6 through September 26, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Weyman Parking Lot. Features fruits, vegetables, wine, frozen goods, flowers and food trucks.

CitiParks South Side: May 10 – November 15, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. 18th Street & Carson Street parking lot. Features farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods.
New Brighton Farmers Market: Every Tuesday, starting May 3 – October 25, 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. 5th Avenue & 12th Street, New Brighton, PA. The market, located in the parking lot next to the Family Dollar, features fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, baked goods, and prepared foods.
Chippewa: Every Tuesday from May through November, 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Shenango & Darlington Rds. Features fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, honey, fresh-cut flowers and bedding plants.
Bethel Park Farmers Market: Every Tuesday from May 3 through September 27, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Oxford Drive parking lots. Vendors include The Spring House, Pitaland, Dillner Family Farm, Rowdy BBQ, 6 Mile Cider, Paddy Wagon Bakery, Biber Family Farm and more.

Farmers at Phipps: Every Wednesday starting June 1, 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. One Schenley Park. Phipps Conservatory hosts a weekly farmers market every Wednesday, offering exclusively organic or certified naturally-grown fruits, vegetables and more.
Mt. Lebanon Lions Farmers Market: Every Wednesday starting June 1, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Road. Find local produce, fresh-baked breads and other food products. Vendors include Wood Street Bread, Matthews Family Farm, Nellie’s Middle Eastern Foods, Cinco de Mayo salsa, Gosia’s Pierogies, Herbold Farm, Dilner Family Farm, and Pisarcik Greenhouse.

Fox Chapel Farmers Market: Every Wednesday from June 15 through October 26, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Shady Side Academy, 423 Fox Chapel Road. The Fox Chapel Farmers Market at Shady Side Academy features locally sourced, seasonal produce, food and specialty items, including cheese, honey, eggs, grass-fed meats and desserts. MarketSquare Downtown Farmers Market: Opening day: May 12, 11:30 a.m. Over 30 weekly vendors sell fresh fruit, vegetables, organic milk and cheese, honey, breads, cakes, fresh-pressed juices, and other homemade food products are available for sale in Market Square every Thursday. The market also includes free afternoon concerts from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and special events, including Christmas in July, Irish Day, and Navy Week.
CitiParks Beechview: June 9 – October , 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Broadway Ave. & Beechview Ave. parking lot. Features farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods.
Green Tree Farmers Market: Every Thursday, May 19 – October, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Green Tree Farmers Market features a stellar lineup of vendors, with local produce, plus jams, jellies, pies, olive oil, small-batch hummus, grass-fed beef and meats, flowers, plants, homemade fudge, kettle corn, fresh bread, and baked goods. 905 Greentree Road.
Pleasant Hills Lions Farmers Market: Every Thursday, starting May 19. 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Chick-Fil-A parking lot, Rt. 51. Local farmers and vendors will sell fresh fruits, vegetables, pies, hot roasted nuts, jams, flowers, and a variety of freshly-baked breads.
Washington Main Street Farmers Market: Every Thursday, starting May 12, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 139 S. Main Street, Washington, PA. The market offers fresh, locally-grown produce, including organic options, meat, eggs, dairy products, breads, pastas, salsas, and other prepared foods. Live music is also scheduled for more weeks.
Wilkinsburg Open Market: Every Thursday, June 23 – November 19, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., with an opening celebration June 18. South Avenue Methodist Church parking lot, 733 South Avenue. Farmers, crafters, artisans and prepared food vendors will be selling products, with vendors including McElhinny Farms, the Farmers Association, Salud and Berlin Street Food.
West Homestead Farmers Market: Every Thursday, starting May 19, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Find fresh produce and local products across the street from the West Homestead Borough Building.
Ambridge: Every Thursday from May through November, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Route 65 (Ohio River Blvd.) & 8th Street. Features fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, honey, fresh-cut flowers and bedding plants.

Forest Hills Farmers Market: Every Friday, starting June 3 – October, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Forest Hills Presbyterian Church parking lot, 1840 Ardmore Blvd., Forest Hills, PA. Managed by the Late Bloomers Garden Club, the Forest Hills Farmers Market features home grown produce, baked goods, and unique products for sale.
