Every year, Soba rolls out a Farm Dinner tasting menu, featuring special, seasonal products from local farmers and purveyors.
That one-week farm-to-table tasting menu kicks off today, and will be available through Friday.
The four-course dinner is $40 per person, with an additional $25 per person for wine pairings.
On the menu:
First
Tuna taco, ramp kim chi, peanuts
- Tempura-fried peach, shiso aioli, apple slaw
- Blackberry gazpacho, macadamia nuts
- Wine pairing: Bodegas Grantia Garrocha Fino Sherry, Spain
Second
- Wok-fried heirloom cherry tomato salad, with summer beans, cucumbers, black garlic, toasted oats
- Wine pairing: Winzer Krems Gruner Veltliner, Austria
Third
- Walleye pike, corn and shrimp dumplings
- Heirloom tomato sweet and sour, lacinato kale, pine nuts
- Wine pairing: Trefethen Chardonnay, Napa
Fourth
- Peach buckle, sunflower seed streusel
- Raspberry, basil ice cream
- Wine pairing: De Perrier Brut Rose, France
