Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar: $30.15 Multi-Course Dinner Plum’s newest farm-to-table restaurant has some amazing salads to choose from, but our must-have pick is their homemade Meatloaf, with veal, pork, and beef. It’s the perfect cold weather dinner to warm you up.
Spoon: $35.15 Multi-Course Dinner We tend to love everything that we try at Spoon, but we always go absolutely crazy over their desserts. This Restaurant Week, we’ll be ordering the Bailey’s Cocoa Bar, which is milk chocolate nougat frozen mousse, served with semi-sweet chocolate pudding. And then we might order it again.
Nola on the Square: $35.15 Multi-Course Dinner Our pick? Their Braised Short Ribs, with wild mushroom gravy, Swiss chard, sweet and Yukon gold potato gratin, and carrot puree. Hearty, and oh-so-delicious.
Kaleidoscope Cafe: $20.15 Specialty Menu We have to admit: We very rarely order the fish when there’s red meat on the menu. But the first time that we tried Kaleidoscope Cafe’s Oven-Roasted Salmon, we were hooked. It’s made with pistachio crust, finished in a sweet miso, and served with sesame sauteed baby bok choy, and wild mushroom and barley pilaf, and it’s truly as delicious as it looks.
Nine on Nine: $14.15 Multi-Course Lunch and $37.15 Multi-Course Dinner Looking for lunch? Nine on Nine has one of the best lunch deals this Restaurant Week, and they’re offering their Tilapia Po’ Boy, one of our favorite sandwiches in Pittsburgh.
Ibiza Tapas & Wine Bar: $25.15 Multi-Course Dinner Not only is Ibiza’s Restaurant Week menu a steal at $25.15, but you can get their Arroz Marisco, a classic Portuguese seafood rice with prawns, mussels and crab.
Benjamin’s Western Avenue Burger Bar: $20.15 Specialty Options Our burger pick this Restaurant Week is at Benjamin’s Western Avenue Burger Bar. For $20.15, you get two burgers, plus sides, and an appetizer (or two lagers) – and those burgers are crazy good.
Altius: $35.15 Multi-Course Dinner Don’t miss their Duck confit strudel, with mascarpone, blackberry jam, and foie gras cream. In a word, it’s heavenly.
San Lorenzo Ristorante: $27.15 Multi-Course Dinner We’ll be ordering the homemade Gnocchi with Wild Mushroom Ragu. It’s topped with ricotta salata, and is one of the best things that San Lorenzo has on their menu, during Restaurant Week or not.
