December in Pittsburgh means that there’s no shortage of holiday craft fairs, bazaars, and markets featuring local vendors, crafters and makers selling the perfect handmade gifts for everyone on your list. We’ve rounded up some of the very best ones to put on your calendar this year.
Daily through December 23
People’s Gas Holiday Market in Market Square
This Market Square holiday market runs every day from now through December 23 and features more than two dozen vendors, including Little Europe, Monmade, and Old German Christmas. Plus, Helmut’s Strudel is a permanent vendor, with strudel, bratwurst, pretzels, hot cider, and cocoa. See more online.
Vignette
Vignette, a holiday pop-up, has popped up downtown until December 23, featuring gifts from four local shops, including Moop, Toll Gate Revivla, Vestis and Pavement Pittsburgh. Find them at 807 Liberty Avenue.

The Second Annual No Flea Market at the Ace Hotel
Join the Ace Hotel for a howl-iday market to raise funds for Humane Animal Rescue. Expect coffee from Grounds & Hounds, photos with Santa, and brunch from Ace, while shopping with local vendors. This event is very dog-friendly. See more on the event page.
Christmas on the Farm at Freedom Farms
Freedom Farms in Butler is hosting a brand new Christmas event, which will feature local food vendors, local alcohol vendors, local craft vendors and more. Holidays with Heart at Animal Friends
Animal Friends is transforming into a holiday marketplace with crafters and vendors from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with lots of items for sale, including pottery, jewelry, coffee and more. See more on the event page.

Krampusnacht in Market Square
The ancient European holiday of Krampusnacht is being celebrated in Market Square on Tuesday, December 5 – and yes, Krampus will be in attendance. You’ll find live music and food at the free event, plus lots of local vendors for holiday shopping. See more on the event page.
Friday, December 8
The Highline’s Holiday Shopping Extravaganza
Head out to The Highline at 33 Terminal Street for a holiday shopping event in a historic terminal. Craftors and vendors will include Spiffy412, Traveling Vineyard Winery, Callihan Crafts, Usborne Books and Sweet Talkers Sweets. See more online.
Saturday, December 9
Soergel Orchards Snowflake Festival
Soergel Orchards celebrates their Snowflake Festival from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with family fun, including horse-drawn carriage rides, hot drinks and food, cider from Arsenal Cider, and holiday shopping.
Crafts and Drafts at East End Brewing Company
Do your holiday shopping while sipping on some EEBC brews at Crafts and Drafts. There will be more than a dozen vendors in the brewery selling crafts and gifts, and food vendors will include La Palapa and Leona’s Ice Cream. See more on the event page.
Holiday Pop Up Shop with Humane Animal Rescue
Think Shadyside and Humane Animal Rescue have teamed up for a weekly holiday pop-up shop at 5533 Walnut Street from noon to 6:00 p.m. with gifts for pet lovers, complimentary gift wrap, pet photos with Santa, and adoptable dogs and cats (the perfect gift for yourself this holiday season!). A Made + Found Holiday Pop-Up Shop

One of Pittsburgh’s favorite handmade markets, I Made It! Market, is hosting a holiday event at The Block Northway on McKnight Road in the North Hills. The Wintermarket at Hotel Monaco
Vendors from all over the region will gather at Kimpton Hotel Monaco for its very first Wintermarket. Shop for gifts including glassware, leather goods, jewelry and crafts during this two-day event. The Hotel Monaco’s The Commoner will serve holiday-inspired sandwiches and apple cider doughnuts from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and wine and cocktails from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. See more on the event page.

Threadbare Holiday Market
Celebrate the season at Threadbare Cider and Mead! They’re installing a huge all-weather tent with more than a dozen Christmas trees, Wassail cider cocktails, family-friendly activities (including cookie decorating, a cider sabering with confetti cannon and lantern lighting), and vendors from lots of local artists and makers. I Made It! Market at Cranberry Commons
Cranberry Township is hosting their own I Made It!
