Right now, you’re still enjoying seriously sunny days and warm-enough-to-eat-outside evenings. But soon, we’ll have to prepare ourselves for another Pittsburgh winter… and Beers of the Burgh is hoping to help make that transition a little easier. With beer, of course.
They just announced the date for their annual Winter Warmer beer festival, with more than two dozen Western Pennsylvania breweries serving up samples of seasonal drafts, with their takes on traditional, spiced, pumpkin and other Fall and winter brews.
The event is happening on Saturday, November 5 at the Carrie Furnace in Swissvale, and tickets just went on sale today.
General admission tickets are $45 for a three-hour session (4:00 to 7:00 p.m.), and VIP tickets are $59, and include one extra hour of beer-drinking. They’re also offering a ‘Super-VIP’ option, for $79, which includes a guided tour of Carrie Furnace. All tickets include live music, a commemorative glass, and beer samples from breweries, like:
