The gymnasium at The Ace Hotel Pittsburgh has been many things since it opened in early 2016, but this January the space is going to transform into a fantastical winter playground for adults.
The Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation is hosting an extra special Winter Carnivale on Friday, January 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Guests can expect carnival games galore, special appearances, winter spectacles, and seasonal performances. The carnival atmosphere will be provided by Hens & Chicks and The Amazing Giants, complete with spectacular lighting, performers on stilts, contortionists, and more.
There will also be carnival games lining the game, and tarot card readings.
The Whitfield at Ace Hotel Pittsburgh is serving up playful twists on carnival fare with offerings of mini funnel cakes, corn dogs, mini grilled cheese, duck fat kettle corn, fried chicken, donut holes, and more. Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream will be mixing up their signature cool sweet treats and hot chocolates with giant marshmallows.Â
The hotel’s restaurant, The Whitfield, will be serving winter treats and carnival fare, as well as hot spiked cocktails.
Guests are encouraged to dress up for the event – “ski lodge with a twist.” Pull out your cozy sweaters, fuzzy boots and hats, ski goggles, and puffer vests to wear with your favorite cocktail attire.
Pittsburgh’s medical professionals and EMT workers work year round to keep the city safe and healthy, and this event supports these courageous men and women.Â
General Admission pre-sale tickets are $120.
Tickets can be purchased online, or directly from the PEMF by emailing [email protected] or calling 412-480-4566.
