Cocktail fans in Pittsburgh, you can breathe a little easier now, because one of the best cocktail bars in the city is back in business.
Back in June, Lynn Falk, the owner of Acacia, announced on social media that after five years in operation, the business would be taking a break, writing “we’re a little worn down, and we need some time to rest, and figure out what we want to do with ourselves.”
But now, the South Side speakeasy-style bar is back (baby). Acacia re-opened on Monday night with a simple announcement:
We told you we'd be back. We know you didn't believe us, and were worried that we'd be gone forever, but we're back. Tonight, 5PM.

Those who missed the bar will be happy to find that not much has changed at Acacia – they’re still serving inventive cocktails in a 1920s-style atmosphere, with selections on the current menu including the Bar Milk, with Johnnie Walker Red, Amaro Lazzaroni, Barley Milk tea, and Goldenraisin, the Nori by Nature, made with Genepy, Bombay Sapphire East, seaweed tincture, ginger and lime, and the Shine On Pt. II, with Maggie’s Farm Spiced Rum, Jagermeister, Absinthe, lemon and honey.
Acacia is open Mondays through Saturdays from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
