La Palapa Beer Dinner at East End Brewing Company
Kick off the new year with a three-course beer dinner at East End Brewing Company! The Larimer brewery is hosting La Palapa for the dinner, which will include a menu of Poblano Pepper & Corn Cream Soup, Chicken with Mole Sauce, or Cheese & Spinach-stuffed Peppers, and Churros. Tickets are $30 per person, and can be purchased online.

Bodega Brewery Series with Helicon Brewing
Gaucho Parilla Argentina is hosting a series of ‘Boedga Brewery’ dinners in January, and the only one that hasn’t sold out quite yet is their dinner with Helicon Brewing on January 9. Tickets are $75 each, and if you want to go, we’d suggest making those reservations quickly.

Vegan & Gluten-Free Ramen Dinner at Gluten Free Goat

Pittsburgh Restaurant Week Starts

Good Wood Barrel-Aged Beer Fest at East End Brewing Company
East End Brewing Company and Wigle Whiskey are hosting the fourth annual Good Wood Barrel-Aged Beer Fest at the brewery, and featuring Pittsburgh-area breweries sharing their best barrel-aged brews. Tickets are $50 per person, and include a snifter glass for beer sampling, plus beer and Wigle spirits to sample. Tickets are available online.
Make Your Own Kombucha Class at Tupelo Honey Teas

412 City Cider Release Party at Threadbare Cider
Threadbare Cider and 412 Food Rescue are teaming up to release a special-edition cider, made using a variety of foraged apples from city land. The event is free and includes cider tastings, and a special menu will be available by Threadbare for purchase. Battle of the Bowls Chili Cookoff at Heinz Lofts
Some of Pittsburgh’s best food trucks are serving up their takes on chili at this ‘Battle of the Bowls.’ Tickets are $16 and include four samples of chili, and one free drink.
